Reality

From The Glass Rainbow - James Lee Burke
"If you're lucky, at a certain age you finally learn not to contend with the world or try to explain that the application of reason has little or nothing to do with the realities that exist just on the other side of one's finger tips."

Legends of the Fall

Author: Jim Morrison

"He reached for her hand and after a while she joined his deep and dreamless sleep, wound about each other with all the loneliness faded at last from the earth."
Great, quick book. Sometimes too quick but nevertheless a great novella. A rare case where the movie is as good as the book.
